The Man Behind the Mission
Called to the Streets of Dallas
Shawn Johnson is the founder and driving force behind E.S.P. of Dallas — a faith-based nonprofit ministry dedicated to the emotional, spiritual, and physical restoration of individuals in the Dallas community.
Shawn's calling was not born in a boardroom or a seminary classroom. It was born on the streets. Moved by the overwhelming need he witnessed in Dallas — the homeless, the hurting, the forgotten — Shawn answered God's call with action. He began showing up where others walked away, bringing food, prayer, and the Word of God to those the world had overlooked.
What started as one man's obedience to God grew into a full-scale ministry. Shawn built E.S.P. of Dallas on the conviction that true healing must address the whole person — not just the body, not just the soul, but all three dimensions of human need: Emotional, Spiritual, and Physical.
His heart beats for the city of Dallas. Whether he is feeding veterans on the street, leading a community worship service, or counseling someone through their darkest season, Shawn brings the same unwavering faith and compassion to every encounter. He believes — and lives — Philippians 4:13: You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Shawn created a safe, compassionate space for individuals to process trauma, grief, anxiety, and life's hardest seasons. Through counseling, support groups, and community, E.S.P. walks alongside people on their journey to emotional wholeness.

At the core of everything Shawn built is the Word of God. E.S.P. nurtures spiritual development through Bible study, discipleship, prayer, and worship — equipping believers to walk in their God-given purpose and identity.

Shawn believes the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. E.S.P. empowers the community with health education, fitness resources, nutritional guidance, and practical support — because caring for the body is an act of worship.
